Transport Robbyns – Warehouse Terms & Conditions
 

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all warehouse activities, handling of goods, storage, loading, unloading, and internal movements carried out by Transport Robbyns NV.
 

2. Storage at the Customer’s Risk

All goods delivered to, stored in, or handled within our warehouses remain entirely at the customer’s risk.
Transport Robbyns shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or depreciation of goods, regardless of the cause, except in cases of proven intent or gross negligence.
 

3. Damage During Handling

Transport Robbyns is not liable for damage occurring during:

  • Loading and unloading

  • Movement by forklift, reach truck, or other internal equipment

  • Palletising or depalletising activities

  • Insufficient packaging or instability of goods

  • Damage caused by falling, pressure, or impact

The customer remains fully responsible for adequate packaging and pallet stability.
 

4. Fire, Water Damage, and External Factors

Transport Robbyns is not liable for damage resulting from, among others:

  • Fire

  • Water damage

  • Theft

  • Glass breakage

  • Storm damage

  • Damage caused by third parties

  • Technical failures of the building or installations
     

5. Insurance of Goods

The customer is responsible for taking out an all-risk insurance policy (or equivalent) covering the full value of the goods stored.
Transport Robbyns does not insure the goods unless explicitly agreed in writing.
 

6. Limitation of Liability

If Transport Robbyns is held liable, such liability is limited to the maximum amounts provided under CMR, Belgian logistics conditions, or applicable legal frameworks.
 

7. Claims & Reporting

Damage claims must be reported in writing within 24 hours of discovery, and must include photos and a detailed description.
 

8. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, delivering goods to our warehouse, or requesting any warehouse or handling services from Transport Robbyns, the customer acknowledges having taken note of these Warehouse Terms & Conditions and explicitly agrees to be bound by them, without reservation.
A reference to these conditions on quotations, order confirmations, invoices, or the Transport Robbyns website shall be deemed sufficient for their applicability.
